This employer is looking to employ an experienced process server to serve documents in and around Auckland.

Process servers are needed for serving legal documents. Their principal job is to deliver or “serve” legal documents to a defendant or person involved in a court case. So the work will primarily involve uplifting the documents from various client locations and serving them at the nominated address.

After serving any legal documents, process servers have to deliver actual evidence that the legal papers were served. The verification that is offered is referred to as an affidavit of service or proof of service, which must be sworn or affirmed and given to the individual or company who required the papers to be served.

This position would suit a law student, or person with related experience in this industry. A full drivers license and a car is required , as you will be required to travel throughout the Auckland region, and you cannot have any criminal convictions.

The job is solely based on commission per document, however every document will be paid, either if successfully served, or, if three attempts at delivering are made at different times. Commission per document is a flat fee of $80, with up to 15 documents for service each week. Experience preferred.

Please note: Due to the commission only nature of this role, all applicants must have the legal right to be self-employed in New Zealand, therefore those on student visas may be ineligible to apply.

If this sounds like the role for you, then apply now!
