Full time Art Gallery Assistant, Auckland Art Gallery, Regional Facilities Auckland CCO (Council Controlled Organisation)
The Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki is New Zealand’s newest and largest visual arts experience. We are looking for dynamic and outgoing individuals to work as a full time Gallery Assistants in our visitor experience team.
Gallery Assistants are a customer focused team. You will be the welcoming and informative face of the Gallery as well as fulfilling a range of other duties including cash handling, assisting with visitor programmes and working on events.
This full time position is 40 hours per week, one position is Sunday-Thursday and the other Tuesday-Saturday. The role requires an individual with proven experience in delivering excellent customer service and a strong background in art.

The Auckland Art Gallery is part of the Regional Facilities Auckland CCO (Council Controlled Organisation).
To secure this highly sought after role you must:
Have an arts qualification, or have relevant gallery/museum experience.
Have proven front line customer service experience.
Previous experience as a Gallery Assistant is preferable.
