Orewa – Family Violence Assistant

Waitemata District Police have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced person join their Family Violence team. The role requires you to be able to assist in the co-ordination and facilitation of Family Violence and intervention related activities both internally and externally, so as to enhance the quality of service to the community.

The Successful Applicant must have below technical skills:

Demonstrates an underssatnding of Domestic Violence episodes and relevant legislations
Displays proficiency and competency with EXCEL worksheets, and Microsoft Word and Computer programmes
Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of functions/jobs whilst maintain Professionalism, Composure and Diligence


Successful applicants must have a Current Full New Zealand Driver’s License, must hold permanent residency or be a NZ Citizen.
Shortlisted applicant will be required to undertake a typing test minimum 30wpm.
Attain a satisfactory Police Children’s Worker safety check.
