Overview

Our Customer Service Team enjoy supporting our customers across a range of channels, delivering exceptional service.

You will be based at our Civic Offices, however could be positioned across our network, including Contact Centre, Service Desks and On-line Channels, connecting with customer touch-points within the organisation.

One role is predominantly based at our Service Desk, while the other in our Contact Centre. Please indicate if you have a preference on the application form.

Your focus is on providing communities with access to our Council services and products, eager to respond and resolve a variety of enquiries from the people of Christchurch, while efficiently providing information and solutions.

Although your customer service experience across each of these channels is advantageous, your training will include Contact Centre, face-to-face and digital customer support.

Essential is your capacity and desire to express passionately and consistently, a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Your ability to build rapport quickly, through your genuine interest in meeting the needs of our customers, is extremely important in this role. Effective listening, communication and problem solving are the skills we will be seeking through our recruitment process.

Salary: $43,699 to $57,052 per annum

Hours of work: Full Time
